School for Organizations
Do you enjoy working with people? Would you like to organize activities for Russian-speaking communities in your city or region? Have you thought about starting a civic organization? If your answer is "yes", but you don’t know where to begin, we invite you to join the School for Civic Organizations.
We will explain how to establish an organization and go through the registration process, how to organize operations and bookkeeping, and what kind of activities might be useful and interesting for potential participants in your organization.
Currently, the course is only available in Russian.
In four short lessons you will learn:

What a civic organization is in Finland and what its role is.

What kind of activities a civic organization can carry out and what activities are financially supported by the state and municipalities. What kind of support the "SVK Association" provides to organizations.

How to establish a civic organization (registration, statutes, board, meetings, etc.).

What budgets, expenses, and taxation look like for civic organizations in Finland.
Participation in the course is free of charge.
